  World's most expensive hot dog place refuses to provide complimentary tap water to customers. Hot dog and fries cost almost $10, but when a cup of water was requested, were told "we don't give out cups of water." Giant tip jar next to the register, but since no water went in the cup, no cash went in the jar. Providing a cup of water does not cost you much, compared to the cost of a permanent loss of a customer for a very stupid reason.
